Bella esperienza, sia sotto il profilo culturale che paesaggistico. La nostra guida Silvia, impeccabile professionalmente, ci ha illustrato, anche con humor, le ville del Brenta con aneddoti e stori…Full review by Corrado N

Can you tell me how much time is spent at each of the three villas visited? I am interested in this cruise but cannot find information on how much time is spent at each stop, and want to make sure I'd have enough time to appreciate the villas.

I didn't "time" it, but i'd say at least an hour, i never felt rushed. First our guide took one group in, speaking English. After he was done with that group (i was in the english speaking group), we had time to wander around the grounds on our own, while he took the other people thru, speaking Italian. The last villa, the one where Napoleon lived for a bit, we all went in together and he first talked in English, then Italian. We had plenty of time to take pictures and walk the grounds. The day we went, I felt the luncheon we opted for, was a bit rushed. Food was wonderful, but i can't remember if we were running late or what, as to why we were rushed. We took the tour from Venice to Padova then stayed overnight in Padova, heading to Milan the following day. We ate dinner in Padova at a restaurant called Mario & Mercedes, near our hotel Patavium, the food was fabulous!! We also visited Saint Anthony's.
Does this trip also go from Padua to Venice and I so is it possible to book for 12th October 2018

Yes it goes from the outskirts of Padua to Venice. Take a look at our review to see that there is a bit of a walk from the road to the boat even if you take a taxi. Not sure if the boat operates in October or ifthe Villa's visited are open but good website and perfect English spoken by staff so email and ask. Well worth taking the all day trip.
On bus # 53 along Brenta canal. Does the road the bus takes run in front or back of the Villa's. I definitely want to see the front or facade of the Villas and I always thought they faced the canal itself. Thank you.

I read the 2016 review by Jo M about the Il Burchiello canal tour & was wondering if there is a different canal tour of Palladio's villas that would offer an improvement on Jo M's experience that someone could recommend. Also, is the canal tour worth the time spent on it, namely the entire day? Thanking the respondants in advance. I.
