Two teens​ have been charged with murder in connection with a shooting at a Detroit park​ that left a 4-year-old boy​ and an 18-year-old man dead.

Both were charged with two counts of first-degree murder, one count of assault with intent to murder, two counts of discharge from a vehicle causing death, one count of discharge from a vehicle causing serious injury and five counts of felony firearm.

Detroit Police Chief Todd Bettison called for parents and loved ones to better monitor their youths, check social media after a 16-year-old was shot and killed in an altercation with a police officer who was also shot.
