Las Vegas police are asking the public to avoid a northwest valley neighborhood following a barricade. It happened shortly after 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday in the 7200 block of Grand Palace Avenue near Ann Road and Rainbow Boulevard.

The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a fatal crash Wednesday morning in the northeast Las Vegas Valley. Police announced in a post on X that the intersection of Stewart Avenue and North Lamb Boulevard is closed in all directions due to the crash.

Deputy Chief Branden Clarkson said that officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop when the vehicle fled. That vehicle hit another car in the intersection of Stewart and Lamb and then continued on.
