Liam Doyle threw seven shutout innings in Tennessee baseball's 3-2 series-opening win against Vanderbilt with key support from Hunter Ensley.

Doyle has totaled 127 strikeouts for the Vols in 2025. He is in his first season with Tennessee after transferring from Ole Miss. With the Rebels as a sophomore, he appeared in 14 games, including nine starts, and recorded 72 strikeouts and a 6.35 ERA.
