ELMONT, N.Y. -- Leon Draisaitl extended his point streak to 17 games by scoring both goals, including the overtime winner at 3:53, for the Edmonton Oilers in a 2-1 win against the New York Islanders at UBS Arena on Friday.

Ilya Sorokin had an outstanding night in net with 33 saves, but it was not enough as the Islanders lost their third straight game.

Leon Draisaitl scored his second goal of the night on a breakaway 3:52 into overtime, and the Edmonton Oilers beat the New York Islanders 2-1.
