LOS ANGELES -- Los Angeles Dodgers third baseman Max Muncy went on the injured list Thursday with a left knee bone bruise. He left in the sixth inning Wednesday night after a collision with Chicago White Sox center fielder Michael A. Taylor, who was attempting a steal. Muncy took a throw from catcher Will Smith and tagged out Taylor.

Max Muncy, injured Wednesday when he was slid into at third base, will be out at least six weeks because of a bone bruise.

Los Angeles Dodgers third baseman Max Muncy has been placed on the injured list, although fans can breathe a sigh of relief with the initial diagnosis.
