India and Pakistan on Saturday reached an understanding to stop all military actions on land, in the air and at the sea, in a U.S.-brokered ceasefire.

India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Monday that his government won’t hesitate to use force to neutralize terrorist camps in Pakistan, calling it a “new normal” in relations with its neighbor.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said India “only paused” its military action against Pakistan, in his first speech to the nation since a ceasefire following a fierce military confrontation last week that threatened a fifth all-out war between the nuclear-armed neighbours.
