Monday night saw the marquee event in the league’s short history as Woods’ Jupiter Links Golf Club faced co-owner McIlroy’s Boston Commons Golf. Ahead of the match, Woods called out to his mother, Kultida Woods, to deliver a hilarious message.

Between personal observation and some internet rumblings about the quality of the technology employed by the new tech-driven indoor golf league he co-founded with Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy decided recently to put TGL’s simulator through his own test.

The match marked TGL's first with any suspense and first to go to an overtime. Jupiter Links edged Boston Common Golf by winning the chip off.
