A new dangerous TikTok challenge is putting middle and high school students at risk by encouraging them to intentionally damage their school-issued laptops for clout.

D.H. Conley High School is informing parents of a challenge on TikTok called the "Chromebook Challenge" encouraging students to put foreign objects into Chromeb

The Chromebook Challenge, named for Google's line of laptops, encourages students to insert metal items into the USB port on their school-issued computers, intending to create sparks, smoke and possibly a fire.
