The Associated Press is under fire for how it described the death of an Israeli mother and her two boys who were reportedly slain by Hamas. The AP shared the controversial statement on the social media platform X on Friday.

"No match was found for any other hostage. This is an anonymous, unidentified body,” the Israel Defense Forces said.
