There was brief hope that Armando Broja’s ankle injury was not as bad as initially feared but it looks like the 23-year-old will just about miss the rest of the season after all, as he’s expected to be out for 10-12 weeks according to the latest word from Everton.
Unfortunately for the young striker, his day would end on a stretcher, with his right leg in an air cast, and everyone fearing the worst. The 23-year-old had missed most of the season to that point with an Achilles issue, and spent all of last season trying to get back to his pre-injury levels after an ACL tear cost him most of 2023.
