Andy Reid might be completely focused on the 2025 NFL playoffs, but the Kansas City Chiefs have already signed two players for next season.

The Chiefs’ left tackle position has been in flux throughout 2024, though things did get settled late in the season with Joe Thuney shifting one place over from left guard.

The most notable of those games occurred in 2017 when the Chiefs had already clinched the AFC West title and had no chance of earning a bye. In that game, Reid rested then-starting quarterback Alex Smith for then-rookie Patrick Mahomes in what was Mahomes' first ever NFL start.
