Authorities are examining “very concerning online writings and social media posts” connected to the shooter who killed a female student and wounded another student in a Nashville high school cafeteria.
Westside Paper, a 70-year-old paper warehouse on a 15-acre site, opened in late 2023. Since then, it has seen several comings and goings including the closure of Elsewhere Brewing, and the opening of The Dumpling Factory, from the owners of acclaimed Buford Highway restaurant Northern China Eatery.
Two students were shot in the cafeteria of Antioch High School, located in Nashville, Tennessee. The shooter was another student and turned the gun on "himself" after injuring the other two students, police said. All other students were taken to a reunification site less than a mile away from the school.
MNPD Police Chief John Drake said the shooter entered the cafeteria around 11 a.m. and began shooting, killing one student and grazing another.
