Days away from the possible ban of TikTok in the U.S., some Winnipeg content creators are worried about what lies ahead.

An emergency alert urged drivers to stay off highways Friday, as a fierce winter storm reduced visibility to near zero in many areas and led to crashes, including pileups, in southern Manitoba.

Environment Canada has issued blizzard warnings across southern Manitoba, including Winnipeg, the Red River Valley and the Interlake region. Strong northerly winds, with gusts of up to 90 km/h, have led to extremely low visibility, particularly in open rural areas.
