EVERETT, Wash — Police arrested a suspect in the stabbing of a 13-year-old student near an Everett middle school. The stabbing happened just before 8 a.m. on Jan. 16 near North Middle School while the student was walking to class. The student survived.
Joseph Andrew Jacquez was arrested Jan. 25 in Nevada, the Everett Police Department said in a news release shared on Facebook. Jacquez, who used to live in Everett, is accused of killing 33-year-old Mary Ann Daniels, police said. She was found dead Feb. 1, 1989.
