Leandro Trossard transformed the mood at Arsenal with the winning goal as they recovered from an early setback to beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 at home and move back into second place in the Premier League on Wednesday.

Arsenal moved within four points of Premier League leaders Liverpool with a 2-1 derby win against visitors Tottenham.

Post-game, Trossard told TNT Sports: "This is what we needed. We all know that we have to win these games against Spurs. You can see what it means to the fans, they are buzzing. It is a great night for us. "We want to win every game, especially these derby games. We were up for it today and managed to take three points.
