Dallas Stars coach Pete DeBoer expects defenseman Miro Heiskanen, who has not played since Jan. 28 when he suffered a left knee injury, to play in their series against the Winnipeg Jets, telling reporters Monday "I'm still sticking by what I projected.

The Dallas Stars took control of their second round series against the Winnipeg Jets on Tuesday night with a clinical 3-1 win in Game 4 at home. The Stars have now taken a commanding 3-1 lead in the series and seem destined to reach the Western Conference Finals for the third season in a row.

Miro Heiskanen has been one of the best players who have been kept out of the NHL playoffs due to injury. He was forced to have knee surgery after a game against the Vegas Golden Knights in late January.
