The esteemed James Beard Award Foundation dropped its list of 2025 semifinalists on January 22. Two New Jersey chefs made the list.
Among the recipients are Regino Rojas of Purépecha in Dallas, nominated for Best Chef: Texas. Anais Paniagua and Iris Rojas of Doña Maria in Irving are also nominated in the same category.
