Crews are working around the clock trying to get a handle on the Brimson Complex wildfires in northern Minnesota, while evacuation orders remain in place.

Rain and cooler weather have slowed wildfire growth in Minnesota. Some areas saw over 2 inches of rain Thursday, easing drought and fire risks.

Conditions improved overnight for the Munger Shaw fire as crews continue to work to establish an anchor point and containment line.
