Newcastle believe a full agreement to sign Anthony Elanga will be reached this weekend, with details emerging of the star Nott'm Forest wanted in return.

The Premier League outfit managed to wrap up a deal for Antonio Cordero at the start of last month. Newcastle signed the 18-year-old winger following the expiration of his contract at Malaga, where he scored six goals and provided seven assists in 39 games last season.

For the past year, Newcastle United have been searching for a right-winger and that search has continued this summer, even after Jacob Murphy’s excellent displays. Eddie Howe already wanted another option on the right flank following Miguel Almiron’s departure in January.
