Legacy Recordings has announced the upcoming release of Jimi Hendrix Experience: Hollywood Bowl August 18, 1967, an aptly-named live recording from the celebrated guitar player and his band.

Many of rock’s biggest acts have taken the stage at the Hollywood Bowl, including the Beatles, the Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Elton John, the Grateful Dead, Steely Dan and the Rolling Stones.
