The House of Representatives on Thursday morning voted to censure U.S. Rep. Al Green of Houston for his outburst during President Donald Trump’s State of the Union speech. The vote was 224 to 198. Ten Democrats joined all Republicans in favor of the resolution,

After heckling Trump at the State of the Union, Al Green has been censured, leading many to wonder what that censure actually means.

According to the Clerk for the House of Representatives, Democrats who voted to censure Green include: Reps. Ami Bera and Jim Costa, D-Calif.; Ed Case, D-Hawaii; Laura Gillen and Tom Suozzi, D-N.Y.; Jim Himes, D-Conn.; Chrissy Houlahan, D-Penn.; Marcy Kaptur, D-Ohio; Jared Moskowitz, D-Fla.; and Marie Perez, D-Wash.

Pa., submitted a resolution to censure Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., for "racist and derogatory" remarks about Rep. Al Green, D-Texas.
