Kyogo has lifted the lid on his decision to leave Celtic for Rennes. His transfer from the Scottish Premiership champions to the Ligue 1 strugglers was made official this afternoon.

Japan forward Kyogo Furuhashi has joined Rennes from Celtic on a two-and-a-half-year deal, the French Ligue 1 club announced Monday. Furuhashi joined Celtic in the summer of 2021 and has reached double-digit goals in each of his four seasons at Celtic,

Kyogo Furuhashi has officially left Celtic, joining French Ligue 1 side Rennes on a permanent basis. The striker made 186 appearances for the Parkhead side, contributing to 104 goals along the way. He won eight major trophies in Glasgow's east end, including a treble under previous manager Ange Postecoglou.
