At least eight people sustained minor injuries after a car plowed into a crowd outside Barcelona's match at Espanyol on Thursday in an incident that has been deemed an accident by local authorities.

At least 20 people were injured when a driver plowed a car into a crowd gathered outside a football match between Espanyol and city rivals FC Barcelona. Police said people were hurt when the vehicle rammed into the crowd outside RCD Españyol football stadium in Barcelona at the start of the game.

Thirteen people are injured when a car crashed into fans outside the Espanyol-Barcelona derby match on Thursday night.
