Warriors superstar guard Stephen Curry isn't expected to potentially play in this second-round series against the Timberwolves until Game 6 "at the earliest," according to ESPN insider Shams Charania.

With Curry's status uncertain going forward, Golden State will continue to need a collective effort against the Timberwolves.

The Golden State Warriors weren’t expected to advance past the first round after losing Games 5 and 6 to the Houston Rockets. However, the Warriors are now up 1 game-to-0 against the Minnesota Timberwolves despite not having star Stephen Curry in the second half of Tuesday’s contest.

The Golden State Warriors had no juice Friday night and lost another close-out game. Now they have to figure out how to win Game 7 on the road Sunday.

The result was Minnesota racing out to a 13-0 lead to open the game and never looking back, cruising to a 117-93 win, tying the series at 1-1. Game 3 is in the Bay Area on Saturday. The Warriors are expected to be without Stephen Curry for that game as he recovers from a strained hamstring (he will be re-evaluated after Game 4).
